The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected that most regions of the country are to witness moderate weather Sunday, with daytime temperatures within average and ranging in the northern regions between (20-27) C, while recording in the central and southern regions between (30-37) C, and clouds are increasing today in (the Green Mountain regions). Ghat area and its surroundings, are sometimes interspersed with scattered rain.
The Center expected, in its daily bulletin, that temperatures would rise relatively during the day starting tomorrow in the northwestern regions, especially on Tuesday, then declining as of Wednesday with an increase in clouds and a chance of scattered rain.
The weather bulletin about expected weather conditions in Libya, Sunday, 04 May 2024, as follows:
1. Area extending from Ras Jadir to Sirte - Al-Jafara Plain - Jabal Nafusa (North West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some scattered clouds will appear over the areas, increasing Tuesday evening.
- Wind: Moderate northeasterly to easterly, turning tomorrow to moderate southeasterly, active during the evening.
- Temperature: Ranges between (22-28 °C) slight increase will be recorded starting tomorrow.
2. Gulf - Benghazi plain up to Emssad (North East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Increase in clouds today over the Green Mountain with the possibility of scattered rain.
- Wind: Moderate to active northwesterly wind over the coastal areas.
- Temperature: Ranging in most areas between (19-25°C).
3. Al-Jufra - Sabha - Ghat - Ghadames – Hamada (South West of Libya):
- Sky condition: Few clouds increasing from this evening over the Ghat region and its surroundings, with the possibility of scattered rain.
- Wind: Northeasterly to moderate easterly, turning tomorrow to moderate southeasterly.
- Temperature: Ranging in most area between (32-37 °C).
4. The Oases - Sarir - Tazirbo – Kufra (South East of Libya):
- Sky condition: Some scattered clouds will appear over the area.
- Wind: Northeasterly moderate.
- Temperature: Ranging between (29-35 °C).
