‎The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, received a letter from the Prime Minister of Djibouti, Abdulkader Kamil Mohamed, regarding enhancing cooperation between the two countries and consolidating bilateral relations in various fields.

The letter was delivered by the Minister of Decentralization in Djibouti, Qasim Haroun, during Dbeibah's reception of him at the Prime Minister's Office in Tripoli, on Tuesday, in the presence of the Minister of Local Governing, Bader Al-Deen Al-Toumi.

Hakomitna  media platform said that Dbeibah's meeting with the Djiboutian Minister of Decentralization included an exchange of views on developing joint cooperation, especially in the areas of local administration and decentralization, and the possibility of exchanging experiences and building partnerships to achieve common interests.

It added that the Djiboutian Minister of Decentralization expressed his country's aspiration to enhance coordination with Libya in various fields, praising the Libyan experience in the field of decentralization. 

Meanwhile, Dbeibah stressed the importance of Libyan-Djiboutian relations, and the keenness of the Government of National Unity to strengthen cooperation to serve common interests.

Djibouti's Minister of Decentralization has been visiting Tripoli since Sunday, and he participated in the Community Communication and Participation Program Forum organized by the Ministry of Local Governing. He met with the Ministry’s officials on Monday to review ways of bilateral cooperation in the field of local administration.
