The Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Major General Mahmoud Ashour, representing the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity, and the Internal Affairs Advisor at the Turkish Embassy in Libya signed Thursday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of training and the use of tracking dogs.
According to the department, the signing of this MoU comes within the efforts to develop capabilities by organizing advanced training programs in the field of specialized teams using tracking dogs and the latest technologies.
Following the signing, the Turkish advisor expressed his country's readiness to work within the framework of protecting common interests in order to cooperate in the fields of training and security qualification to combat crime.
The signing of the MoU was attended by the Assistant Director of the Department of Relations and International Cooperation at the Ministry of Interior and a number of officers of the Criminal Investigation Department.
