The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Menfi, in his capacity as Chairman of the High Finance Committee, discussed in a meeting that included the deputy in the Presidential Council, Mossa Al-Koni, the first deputy head of the High Council of State, a number of ministers representing the regions of the south, and heads of executives; mechanisms for resuming work in the suspended vital projects in the south.

Menfi also reviewed during the meeting the mechanism of work of the High Finance Committee by placing special projects in the southern region as one of its first concerns, and working to implement them by the relevant executive bodies.

Meanwhile, Al-Koni stressed the need for a fair distribution of the budget to implement the strategic projects needed by the southern regions, and for the executive bodies to be more practical to carry out the tasks assigned to them in a professional manner.

The ministers stressed the need to work on allocating the necessary budgets to accelerate the return of foreign companies to resume their work in the south to reduce migration to the northern regions, and to bring about spatial development in them, especially the city of Murzuq.
