The Ministry of Justice has reached an agreement with the Netherlands to conduct workshops focused on human rights training.

The workshops will target members of the judiciary, judicial police, and personnel from reform and rehabilitation institutions.

The announcement followed a meeting between Libya's Minister of Justice, Halima Ibrahim, and Dutch Ambassador Joost Klarenbeek. The two sides discussed ongoing cooperation in reinforcing the rule of law and human rights protection.

Minister Halima emphasized that the Netherlands is a key partner for the Ministry of Justice, with significant cooperation between them in the field of rule of law and human rights protection.

The program aims to provide comprehensive training to strengthen judicial cooperation and bolster efforts to safeguard human rights across the country. Further meetings are planned to finalize details of the initiative.
