The Libyan army conducted an exercise routine for the 53rd Ground Force Brigade under the supervision of Prime Minister/ Minister of Defence Abdul Hamid Dbeibah.

The military exercise named (Hurricane 1) involved 30 units of the Libyan army and was watched by government officials and the Italian, Turkish, and Sudanese military attaches in Libya.

Addressing the soldiers, PM Dbeibah said the Libyan army will always be loyal to the homeland and not to tribes, cities, or individuals.

He showed his elation at the exercise that was implemented according to the professional bases and relevant rules, as he put it, noting that this regulation has not been carried out since 2007.

Subsequently, the Minister of Defence held an expanded meeting that grouped military leaders participating in the exercise to discuss military issues and concerns.
