Minister of Social Affairs Wafaa Al-Kilani has reiterated Libya's unequivocal support for the Palestinian people, highlighting that the Palestinian community in Libya enjoys full public rights akin to the Libyan citizens.

Al-Kilani's remarks came during her reception of the Palestinian Ambassador in Libya on Tuesday.

For his part, the Ambassador expressed his high appreciation for the support and solidarity of the Libyan people as well as the firm stance of their government regarding the Israeli brutal aggression against the people in Gaza.

At least 10,569 Palestinians have been killed since 7 October. Of those, 4,324 were children, 2,823 women, and 649 elderly, according to the spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Another 26,475 people were wounded, while 2,550 people remain missing, including 1,350 children.
