Libya’s Al-Ahly Tripoli won 3-2 against Zambia's Zanaco at the National Heroes Stadium within the fourth round of the first group at the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

After the win, Al-Ahly stands second of the group with 9 points as Zanaco is officially out of the competition for the quarter finals as it stands with zero points at the bottom of the group.

Al-Ahly’s Mohammed Al-Fagih scored a brace from the spot at the minutes 13 and 63 and then at the injury time, Mutaz Al-Mahdi scored the third, while Zanaco’s two goals were scored at the minutes 35 and 82 by Sianakombo and Phiri.

Al-Ahly will play next Sunday against Pyramids from Egypt at Benina Martyras Stadium with the aim to secure three more points to officially qualify for the quarter finals.
