Al-Nasr has settled the Benghazi Derby after edging  Al-Ahly Benghazi 2-0 in the second round matches of the six-court play-off competitions in the Libyan Football League.

The team now tops the group with 4 points, along with Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly Tripoli.

Nigerian Junior Ajayi opened the scoring for Al-Naser in the 6th minute, taking advantage of a rebound from the crossbar, before Yahya Al-Zulaitni secured his team's victory in the 81st minute after being set up by Ajayi, leaving Al-Ahly Benghazi with one point in fifth place.

Earlier, Al-Ahly Tripoli gained 4 points and topped the group by goal differences after defeating Al-Akhdar 3-1.

Al-Ittihad also joined the lead with Al-Ahly Tripoli and Al-Nasr after achieving an important 2-0 victory over the Olympic team, giving it 4 points.

The third round, which will be held next Wednesday, will bring Al-Ittihad with Al-Akhdar, Al-Nasr with Al-Olympic, and a fiery confrontation between Al-Ahly Tripoli and Al-Ahly Benghazi.
