The draw for quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup drew on Tuesday the two Libyan teams: Al-Ittihad – last season's Libyan League champion, and Al-Ahly Tripoli the runners-up – to set the date for a derby of the Libyan capital but on the continental level for the first time.

The first leg match will be on April 17 at Benina Martyrs stadium in Benghazi and the second leg match will be on April 24 at the same stadium.

The winner will then play in the semifinals against the winner of the match between South African Orlando Pirates and Simba from Tanzania.

Al-Ahly Tripoli topped its group with 13 points while Al-Ittihad came second in its group with 11 points.
