Al-Ittihad football team suffered a harsh defeat, 1-0, against the Algerian, JS Saoura, in the fourth round of the CAF Confederation Cup Group B at the July 5 Stadium in Algiers.

The only goal came in the first seconds of the match when the JS Saoura striker managed to take advantage of a fatal mistake made by Al Ittihad goalkeeper Moaz Lafi.

Lafi lost control of the ball that made its way to the Algerian striker, who placed it comfortably in the empty net.

The goal kept Al-Ittihad on alert, trying to find the equalizer before the break, but despite repeated attempts, the goals needed never arrived.

To qualify for the quarter-finals stage, Al-Ittihad faces a challenging task as they need to win their two remaining games against the Royal Leopards and Orlando Pirates, which may be difficult to achieve, especially since the Orlando Pirates will play on their ground.
