Al-Ahly Benghazi came in second place in the African Basketball League (BAL) after losing the final to Angolan "Petro Luanda" with a score of 93-107.

Al-Ahly Benghazi won against the Egyptian club Al-Ahly in the quarterfinals of the African Basketball League with a score of 86-77 to qualify for the semifinals.
