Health Minister Ali Al-Zanati reviewed with the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Suleiman Al-Shanti, the measures taken to provide an adequate supply of medical oxygen in light of the severe shortage experienced by the isolation centers.
This came during a meeting held on Tuesday in the presence of the minister's advisors, directors of the ministry's departments, and representatives of isolation centers; To follow up on the measures regarding support for the treatment services provided to Covid-19 patients inside the isolation centers.
Al-Zanati stressed the ministry's commitment to follow up all procedures related to providing medical supplies to isolation centers with the Administrative Control Authority.
For his part, Al-Shanti briefed the health minister on their preparations, including the equipment in laboratories, operating materials, supplying medicines and medical supplies, rewards for workers in isolation centers, cleaning and catering services, in addition to providing medical oxygen tanks.
He emphasized the need to set specific standards and controls for the staffing in isolation centers, stressing the importance of activating internal control and preparing periodic reports on the measures taken to organize work.
