12 children were injured in Benghazi on Monday evening after one of Bosko Amusement Park rides malfunctioned, throwing those on board on the ground.

The incident caused panic and fear among families, as the ambulance and rescue teams rushed to the scene to evacuate the injured.

Khalil Qweider, Director of the Media Office of Benghazi Medical Centre, confirmed that the children that arrived at the centre for treatment were between the ages of 3 to 15, adding that most of them suffered minor to medium injuries except for a case, which required an urgent surgical intervention in the jawbone.
