The Tunisian Observatory for Human Rights has confirmed the release of 12 Tunisians who were detained in Libyan prisons.
The observatory explained in a statement on Friday that this step came after coordination with the Tunisian authorities, and that the detainees were about to return to Tunisia.
Last August, the Tunisian observatory reported that more than 50 Tunisians were detained in Libyan prisons for several reasons, including work disputes and posts on social media, as it put it.
