The Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity announced on Monday, the rescue of 13 illegal immigrants of different African nationalities, who were stranded in the Al-Hamada Al-Hamra area.
The Ministry explained, in a post on its Facebook page, that the rescue operation was carried out by desert security patrols affiliated with the Qarayyat Desert Security Sector of the Border Guard Service.
It also added that all necessary health care was provided to the immigrants, and they were transferred to the headquarters of the Qarayyat Security Sector, where they will be referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures.
