A cemetery going back to the fourth or fifth century was discovered in Zuwara when a farmer unearthed skeletons while he was doing some digging in his farm.
He saw that the skeletons were placed in an organized manner with special substances.
Zuwara concerned authorities formed a committee to follow up on the case, saying it will send specimen overseas for more details on how old they are and the epoch they belong to.
