Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Ali Al-Abed, held discussions with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, focusing on enhancing cooperation between Libya and Italy.
During the meeting, Al-Abed highlighted the strong ties between the two countries and expressed the ministry’s eagerness to collaborate with all business partners on shared agendas, particularly in the realm of vocational training.
Ambassador Alberini commended the efforts of the Ministry, notably for organizing the recent Conference of Labour Ministers of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States in Tripoli.
The meeting concluded with both parties expressing a mutual desire to strengthen their partnership, specifically in investment sectors, through joint programs between Libya and Italy.
