The member of the Presidential Council, Abdullah Al-Lafi, discussed on Monday, with the Tunisian Ambassador to Libya, Al-Assaad Al-Ajili, the situation at the Ras Ajdir border crossing.

Both sides also reviewed the historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries and work to strengthen them, in addition to the steps recently taken to alleviate the suffering of citizens at the border, according to the Presidential Council media office.

Al-Ajili stressed the importance of Libyan elections, praising what the Presidential Council had achieved in the file of national reconciliation, establishing a ceasefire and bringing together the Libyan parties, and its efforts to get out of the political impasse in Libya.
