Member of the Presidential Council (PC), Abdullah Al-Lafi, on Tuesday, held talks with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Egyptian Embassy in Libya, Tamer Mostafa, which touched upon issues of common concern.

Among the principal topics discussed was the Palestinian issue and ways to coordinate a common stance between the two countries to strengthen the Arab and African positions aimed at ending the Israeli's brutal attack.

According to the PC, the two sides noted during the meeting the genocide targeting the Palestinian people amid unjustified international failure.

At another level, the parties debated developments in Libya, including a mechanism to advance the political process leading to an electoral process with the participation of all parties, as well as the success of the national reconciliation project and achieving permanent stability in the country.
