The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, and the British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, have discussed ways to support the electoral process in Libya, reviewing the HNEC level of readiness to implement the upcoming elections.

This came during their meeting on Wednesday, where Longden expressed his appreciation for the HNEC’s efforts to prepare for the municipal council elections, according to the HNEC Facebook page.

He also renewed his government's readiness to provide technical and advisory support to the HNEC, which enhances its readiness and creates a suitable climate for the elections.
