Libya's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, met with the Executive Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Ghada Wali, during her recent visit to New York.
During the meeting, issues of common interest were discussed, and recent reports and figures were reviewed to determine the effective substantive support that can be provided to institutions in Libya and to provide the necessary technical assistance for capacity-building programmes.
The two sides expressed their aspiration to enhance their cooperation in the near future.
