Attorney General, Al-Siddiq Al-Sour has stressed the importance of strengthening society’s right to know the extent of the violation of its fundamentals, and informing its members of the judicial activity carried out by the Public Prosecution Authority against those who violate the prohibitions of the law.
This came in a meeting held last week with the coordinators of communications at the Public Prosecution Office.
The Attorney General urged at the meeting for taking into account, the importance of making information available to members of society through broadcasting means that adhere to the principles of disclosing, development of criminal procedures, but respects the rights of victims of crimes; and observes those who are subject of the authority’s measures, according to a statement published by the Attorney General’s Office on Friday.
