The Head of the Audit Bureau, Khaled Shakshak, on Sunday discussed with John Cardenas, the regional director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the partnership for capacity building as part of Libya's Public Financial Management program.
The meeting in Tunisia aimed to review the Bureau's partnership with USAID, evaluate completed projects, and discuss areas of focus for the current year.
Shakshak emphasized the importance of young staff members benefiting from the development programs implemented by USAID.
For his part, Cardenas affirmed the Agency's commitment to developing programs and mechanisms that enhance the efficiency and independence of the Bureau.
