The British Ambassador to Libya, Martin Longden, has confirmed his government's readiness to provide technical and advisory support to the High National Elections Commission (HNEC), to create a suitable climate for the implementation of the upcoming elections.
This came during his meeting with the HNEC Chairman, Imad Al-Sayeh, on Sunday, and his accompanying delegation.
The British ambassador expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the HNEC in preparation for the municipal council elections.
