The Central Committee for Municipal Elections announced on Tuesday that six new mayors have been elected to the municipalities which underwent elections last week, including, Wadi Otbh, Zelten, Alruhaibat, Al Ghurayfah, and Riqdalin.

The municipal elections were held in a number of municipalities in two stages during the past few days, including in the city of Sabha, while other cities resounded their rejection to the elections, saying that they only recognize the Interim government based in the east.
