The Cyrenaica Commission has announced its total rejection of the statement by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which it considered unacceptable interference in Libya’s internal affairs and a violation of all internationally accepted covenants.

The Commission stressed in a statement on Monday that Sisi’s red lines on Libyan soil are an internal matter, which lies in the hands of the internationally recognized Government of National Accord (GNA), whose priorities are to impose sovereignty over the entire Libyan soil.

It called on the international community to shoulder their responsibilities towards the Egyptian interference on the Libyan issue and its unacceptable violation of international conventions and laws.
