Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah paid an inspection visit to the Ministry of Social Affairs on Tuesday to follow up on distributing the child allowance for the next six months after referring them to the Central Bank of Libya.
The PM media office said that Dbeibah held an extensive meeting with the directors of departments at the ministry to find out the difficulties and problems facing their workflow.
According to the same source, he issued instructions to disburse the wife grant for the years 2021 and 2022, considering the delay in its disbursement unjustified and stressing at the same time the need to work and coordinate with the Civil Status Authority and the Public Information Authority in particular.
The Prime Minister stressed the need to focus on welfare services and identify them as a priority in the ministry's agenda for this year.
