Chief of Derna Security, Brigadier Yahya Al-Osta Omar, described the news circulated by Dignity Operation media outlets on preparations to storm the city as propaganda.
In a press statement Monday, Al-Osta reaffirmed the stability of the security situation in the city, pointing out that the military build-up of Dignity Operation is still positioned near the entrances of the city.
He also pointed to the continuation of the fuel crisis, which is affecting negatively the living conditions of the citizens besides other crises that resulted from the ongoing blockade.
Dignity Operation media arms claimed that situations inside Derna are chaotic, adding that their “army” is about to storm the city.
