Dignity Operation forces declared Thursday that the military operations in Sidi Kriebiesh district in central Benghazi were over.

Dignity Operation confirmed it has taken full control of the Balidi Hotel and the surrounding areas and are currently conducting a thorough search in the district.

Local sources confirmed the withdrawal of the Shura Council of Benghazi forces from Sidi Kriebiesh, explaining that clashes broke out following the pull-out of Shura fighters in the village of Al-Fwateer, west of the city, killing 5 of Dignity Operation fighters and wounding 7 others.

The Commander of Dignity Operation, warlord Khalifa Haftar, announced last July what he called the liberation of the entire city of Benghazi and the end of military operations.
