The director of the Ras Jedir border crossing, Abd Al-Salam Al-Omrani, has called on the Tunisian authorities to remove the refugees from the Libyan border point, expressing his hope that these authorities and humanitarian organizations would intervene to protect these refugees who suffer from hunger and thirst.
Al-Omrani added that the Ministry of Interior of the Government of National Unity intends to send a force to enhance border security between the two countries and raise security readiness on the background of the gathering of hundreds of African refugees on the border crossing coming from Tunisia.
