The Criminal Investigation Agency in the city of Kufra, southeast Libya, arrested two people on charges of armed robbery and assault on foreign workers in a factory in the city.

The spokesperson for Kufra Security Directorate, Mohammed Khalil, clarified in a press statement that foreign workers at a brick factory in Kufra were robbed by three gunmen at dawn last Tuesday and one worker was killed.

He said that after the search and investigation, two of the suspects were arrested, one last Thursday and the second was arrested on Sunday, while the search is still on for the third suspect.

Khalil did not reveal the nationality of the foreign workers.
