The French Embassy in Libya has affirmed its support for the efforts of the head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Abdoulaye Bathily, to hold elections this year.
This came in a tweet commenting on the meeting of members of the Joint Military Commission and military and security leaders in Benghazi the past few days, in the presence of Bathily.
