The Derna Construction Fund has announced the signing of a package of projects with the Emirati ‘GLOBAL CONTRACTING’ company.
According to the media office of the Fund, which is headed by Haftar’s son, Belqasim, these projects include infrastructure work, the establishment of sewage treatment plants, and the establishment of two seawater desalination plants.
The contracts also include the construction of dams for the city’s Valley and an integrated channel for its stream. The company will also implement, according to the Derna Fund, a breakwater project, in addition to other projects west of the administrative boundaries of the city.
