The High Council of State (HCS) formed a committee Sunday to follow up and address the crisis in the south of the country.

The committee is to liaise with the government of the Presidential Council to find urgent and immediate solutions in order to restore stability in the southern region.

The High Council of State explained via its Facebook page that the committee will reach out to the United Nations Support Mission in Libya and all concerned parties in the south in order to bring peace and stability to the region.
