Libya’s southwestern city of Ghat saw heavy rain and deluges in nearby valleys with Tahala municipality being the most area impacted by the sudden weather change.
The rain caused some houses’ ceilings to fall and other problems that kept everybody on their feet for hours, with others staying in the open air at night for fear of the floods.
No human loss was reported, but many houses were damaged.
