The Head of the High National Electoral Commission (HNEC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has met his Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Yanz, and the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Ahmet Yildiz, in Ankara.

Anadolu Agency cited Al-Sayeh as saying the visit was to benefit from the Turkish experience in electoral administration, hoping that the upcoming elections would bring stability to the country.

In a separate meeting, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmed Yildiz  affirmed Al-Sayeh Ankara's continued support for seeing free, fair, and credible parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya.

The Turkish official also stressed the importance of conducting the elections based on consensus among Libyans, confirming Turkey's readiness to share its experiences and provide technical support in this field.
