The Ministry of Local Governance has launched a six-day training program for the second group of newly elected municipal mayors and council members from the first phase of municipal elections.
Held at the Center for Municipal Development and Decentralization Support in Tripoli, the program aims to enhance administrative skills and familiarize participants with local governance laws and practices.
The opening day featured contributions from Adel Al-Ashhab, the center's director, alongside senior ministry officials. Over the course of the program, attendees will delve into key topics, including local administration legislation, municipal revenue development, crisis management, and urban planning.
The ministry emphasized that the initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen governance frameworks, enhance local revenue generation, and improve municipal services across Libya.
