Acting Foreign Minister of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Al-Taher Al-Baour, discussed with the Foreign Minister of the Philippines Enrique Manalo the importance of opening more paths of economic cooperation, including at the private sector level.

These remarks came during a meeting on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which added that the two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation and develop friendly relations, whose roots extend back more than 50 years.

Al-Baour participated, on Wednesday, in the opening session of the meeting of foreign ministers of the Non-Aligned Movement countries in the capital of Uganda, as he headed the Libyan delegation.
