Libya and Morocco have affirmed the importance of enhancing coordination within the Arab League to serve Arab causes and promote joint Arab action.
This came during a meeting between Libya’s ambassador to Cairo, Abdelmutalib Thabet, and his Moroccan counterpart, Mohamed Ait, at the Libyan delegation’s headquarters in the Arab League in Cairo.
According to the Libyan embassy statement, the meeting discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Libya and Morocco and explored prospects for cooperation in various fields to reinforce historical ties between the two countries, addressing regional developments and issues of mutual concern in the Arab world.
Ambassador Thabet reiterated Libya’s commitment to deepening its ties with Morocco and praised its supportive stance on Libya’s stability and territorial unity.
