The Minister of Education, Moussa Al-Magarief, met on Wednesday, with his Tunisian counterpart, Fathi Salouti, on the sidelines of the second day of the General Conference of UNESCO, which is being hosted by Paris.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the extent of the relations between the two countries historically, geographically and socially, agreeing to support bilateral work in the fields of education through a number of joint programs.

It was also agreed to organize joint workshops on e-learning, developing expertise, developing skills in all sectors, and equivalence of accredited certificates in both countries.

Al-Magarief received an invitation from his Tunisian counterpart to visit Tunisia and sign a memorandum of understanding between the two ministries.
