The Ministry of Interior signed a memorandum of understanding with its Turkish counterpart on Wednesday to boost cooperation in security training.

The agreement aims to enhance the capabilities of Libya's Criminal Investigation Department through advanced training programs, including the use of tracking dogs.

The signing took place between Major General Mahmoud Ashour, head of Libya's Criminal Investigation Department, and a representative from Turkey's Ministry of Interior.

The Libyan Interior Ministry says the initiative is part of broader efforts to improve security performance and align Libyan security practices with international standards.
