The Libyan Audit Bureau was elected to the membership of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) among four other members.
It also was elected to membership of the Committee on Oversight of Sustainable Development and the Committee on Oversight of Information Technology, during the fourteenth session of the General Assembly on October 25-26 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
In its meeting, the General Assembly dealt with the decisions of the Executive Council of the Organization regarding the recommendations approved in previous reports, and the activities of the Organization during the year, as well as the election of members of the Executive Council of the Organization.
The head of the Audit Bureau held several meetings with a group of heads of the supreme auditing bodies, during which they discussed ways of joint cooperation in order to enhance the work of the organization, and activate bilateral programs for cooperation between the agencies and the exchange of experiences in various oversight fields.
