The Ministry of Interior has officially announced the recent release of Libyan citizen Abdulrahman Qaja by the Saudi authorities following a period of nearly three months in detention.
Qaja was apprehended by Saudi authorities during the previous Ramadan on the basis of an international arrest warrant issued by Interpol in Tunisia.
In recent days, the Ministry of Interior announced the cancellation of the arrest warrant against Qaja. This development followed communications with Tunisian authorities through the Arab and International Criminal Police Department of the Ministry, under the directives of the Prime Minister, according to the statement.
