The Libyan High National Elections Commission (HNEC) participated in monitoring the presidential elections in Uzbekistan, saying on its Facebook page that the member of the HNEC Abdul Hakim Al-Shaab and a member of the Executive Office of the Arab Organization for Electoral Administrations, took part on Sunday in monitoring the early presidential elections in Uzbekistan. 

The delegation toured a number of polling centers in the capital city to monitor the implementation and procedures of polling and to learn about the methods and techniques used in the voting, in addition to sorting and counting mechanism.

About 20 million voters participated in Uzbekistan's elections in 10,784 polling stations, as four candidates were competing for the Head of State's position in these elections, including the current President Mirzayev.
