The Public Prosecutor’s Office announced on Tuesday that the identity of the suspect in the attempted assassination on Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Adel Jumaa has been determined.
The office also stated that one of the suspects fled to Tunisia, prompting efforts to track him down through international cooperation, while efforts continue to track down other suspects in the attack.
The statement did not reveal the identities of those involved in the assassination attempt but indicated that investigative procedures had confirmed the details of the incident and its surrounding circumstances.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office has taken steps to pursue the suspect beyond Libyan jurisdiction through international cooperation mechanisms and has ordered the search and arrest of those connected to the crime.
