The head of the Presidential Council and Supreme Commander of the Army, Mohammed Menfi, has met with members of the Joint Military Commission (JMC) 5+5 for the Western Region, as part of ongoing efforts to unify the military institution.
During the meeting, the JMC members provided a comprehensive briefing on the results of the previous JMC meetings, reviewing the proposals made by the Supreme Commander for the upcoming meeting.
The attendees also discussed the practical steps that have been taken so far to unify the Libyan army and enhance coordination between the various military parties.
