The Presidential Council (PC), in its capacity as the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, convened an extensive meeting on Sunday in Tripoli with army commanders, to deliberate on the security developments in the western region. 

The meeting grouped the PC Head, Muhammad Menfi, Prime Minister/Minister of Defence, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, Council members Musa Al-Koni and Abdullah Al-Lafi, the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Haddad, the Chiefs of the Specific Staff, and the Commander of the Central Military Region.

According to the PC media office, the meeting primarily focused on the most recent military and security developments in the western military regions, the arrangement of the military units' work, and the tracking of administrative procedures related to the military institution's work.
