The Minister of Education in the Government of National Unity (GNU), Mussa Al-Magaryif, has decided to form a committee to assess and inventory the educational institutions damaged due to weather fluctuations that affected a number of cities and regions of the country.
The committee is formed under the chairmanship of the Undersecretary for Monitoring Affairs, and the membership of the Director of Project Management at the Educational Facilities Authority and the Director of the Follow-up Office at the Ministry of Education, according to a brief statement issued by the Ministry.
The GNU had decided Sunday an official holiday in public institutions and facilities, to preserve the safety of citizens due to weather fluctuations.
