The Minister of Interior, Imad Al-Trabelsi, has assigned the Law Enforcement Department of the General Administration of Security Operations to help secure the Ras Ajdir border crossing in combating smuggling and security violations to facilitate the movement of passengers.
Last December, Al-Trabelsi announced that the Ministry of Interior took control of the Ras Ajdir border crossing, and changed a number of security arrangements at the border crossing.
